Volleyball Recap: Indian Valley Beats Carrollton for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Indian Valley entered their tilt with Carrollton on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Indian Valley might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Carrollton scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25, 21-25, 25-21.

Reese Polen paced Indian Valley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Polen got some help from Brooklyn Abbuhl and her 34 assists. Lily Lewis controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Indian Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Carrollton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Indian Valley will venture away from home to square off against Triway at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carrollton, they will welcome Marlington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
