Basketball Recap: Wolfe County Comes Up Short

Wolfe County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Estill County Engineers didn't end well, with the Wolfe County Wolves falling 57-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-59 back in January.

Wolfe County's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Estill County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Wolfe County has already played their next contest (against Buckhorn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Estill County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-66 victory against Nicholas County on the 8th.
