Wilson Magnet scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 60-44 to the Geneva Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Geneva found their leader in freshman Kate Good, who went 7 of 15 en route to 19 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Good has scored all season. Trinity Maxon was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Wilson Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Geneva, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Wilson Magnet will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rochester Prep at 4:45 p.m. on February 7th. As for Geneva, they will challenge Honeoye at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Geneva is facing Honeoye at the right time seeing as Honeoye is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
