Soccer Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short

Harlan lost against Taft back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Harlan Hawks lost 6-0 to the Taft Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Raiders are ranked 54th).

Harlan has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. The victory was the 14th in a row for Taft, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Coming up, Harlan will take on Warren at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Taft, they will host Brennan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
