Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Christian School Starts Season with Victory at Home

Bloomfield Christian School took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 34-25 win over Varsity Opponent. The victory was some much needed relief for the Defenders as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Bloomfield Christian School was led to victory by Heidi Jeromin and Lexi Ruma. Jeromin almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine steals, while Ruma posted eight points and five assists. That's the most steals Jeromin has posted since back in November of 2023.

Bloomfield Christian School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-7 win against Auburn Hills Christian on the 10th. As for Varsity Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-19 loss against Lancaster Baptist on the 6th.
