Moundridge put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Riley County Falcons to the tune of 56-26. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Falcons are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Moundridge's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. As for Riley County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moundridge will square off against Garden Plain at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. Moundridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Garden Plain likes a good challenge. Riley County has already played their next match (against Clay Center), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
