It was a good run, but Rudyard unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Ishpeming Hematites by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hematites this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Rudyard's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-3. As for Ishpeming, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Rudyard has already played their next matchup (against Mackinaw City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ishpeming, they will challenge Gladstone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
