Soccer Recap: Ridge View Takes a Loss

Ridge View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to the Lugoff-Elgin Demons. If Ridge View were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to Lugoff-Elgin when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ridge View's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Ridge View will welcome West Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Florence will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Ridge View surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they will head out on the road to face off against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lugoff-Elgin will be up against Westwood's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.8 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
