Volleyball Recap: Alpha Academy Comes Up Short

Alpha Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hoke County Bucks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in April.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-12.

Hoke County was led to victory by Heiden Small and Pedro Ramos-Alejandro. Small had 11 assists and five aces, while Ramos-Alejandro had ten digs. Ramos-Alejandro is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Alpha Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Hoke County, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

As of now, neither Alpha Academy nor the Bucks have any future games scheduled.
