The victory was the third in a row for Okeene, bringing their record for this year to 3-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Cherokee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Okeene wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Timberlake on the 13th. As for Cherokee, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Lomega on the 13th.
