Baseball Recap: Herington Comes Up Short

Herington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 15-7 to the Wabaunsee Chargers. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Railroaders' highest-scoring game to date.

Herington's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wabaunsee, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Herington will face off against Hillsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wabaunsee, they will take on Lebo on Thursday.
