Softball Recap: Breese Central Takes a Loss

Breese Central's last matchup with Columbia could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Cougars came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Breese Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Columbia, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

While Breese Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
