North Lamar has gone 8-2 against Pittsburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. North Lamar will be playing in front of their home fans against Pittsburg at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when North Lamar duked it out with Gunter on Tuesday. North Lamar came out on top against Gunter by a score of 7-4.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pittsburg). They never let Paris get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

North Lamar is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. Pittsburg's win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Everything went North Lamar's way against Pittsburg when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as North Lamar made off with a 13-1 victory. Will North Lamar repeat their success, or does Pittsburg has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
