You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Slidell on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Era Hornets out of the water with a 75-30 final score. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Slidell pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.7 points per game. As for Era, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-8.

Slidell and Tioga will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Slidell knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Tioga likes a good challenge. As for Era, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Muenster at 8:00 p.m. Muenster will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Era surely won't give up without a fight.
