Cranston West won the last time they faced South Kingstown and Mehkhai Taylor did his part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 45-34 on Friday thanks in part to Taylor, who rushed for 177 yards and four TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Cranston West and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points over those games. As for South Kingstown, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cranston West will welcome Barrington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
