It was a proper cat-fight when Carey faced off against Richfield on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past the Tigers 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Carey walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Bentley Saxton and Abbi Whittier, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Andie Simpson and her 11 assists. Saxton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Carey's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Richfield, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carey will host Camas County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richfield, they will face off against Hagerman at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
