Columbus had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 19-7 victory over the Mountain View Bears.

Columbus didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Harmony Franklin, Abigail Harris, and Karlee Burt* picked up one apiece.

Columbus' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Columbus and Mountain View will both be playing Cedar Shoals the next time they take the field. The Blue Devils will host the Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
