Bassett had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the George Washington Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 on April 3rd.

The victory got Bassett back to even at 4-4-1. As for George Washington, they dropped their record down to 2-7-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
