Whitmer, Ensworth new No. 1 teams in Midwest, South.

Playoff upsets have resulted in several changes to the top teams this week in the MaxPreps Regional Football Computer Rankings, most notably in the Midwest where Whitmer takes over the top rating from Colerain.

Whitmer will take on Mentor, a team that was unranked two weeks ago but has moved up to the No. 2 spot after big wins over St. Edward and St. Ignatius.

The other new No. 1 is Ensworth, which takes over the top spot in the South from season-long No. 1 Trinity.

The rankings are done using the MaxPreps Freeman Computer Ratings. Be sure to check out all of our 2012 MaxPreps Football State Playoff Brackets.
