Volleyball Recap: St. John-Endicott Eagles vs. Pomeroy Pirates
St. John-Endicott came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Pomeroy Pirates. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost four in a row.
Vanessa Webb paced St. John-Endicott's offense, picking up seven kills. Webb got some help from Sophie Anderson and her 19 assists. Webb and Anderson didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.
St. John-Endicott's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pomeroy, their record now sits at 13-9.
