Baseball Recap: Maiden Takes a Loss

Maiden suffered their biggest loss since March 5, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Lincoln Charter Eagles, falling 14-4. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Maiden saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Haynes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Maiden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lincoln Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Maiden will welcome East Burke at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give East Burke their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Lincoln Charter, they are taking a road trip to square off against Corvian Community at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Lincoln Charter's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
