Volleyball Recap: Second Baptist University-Model's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Second Baptist University-Model lost against Calvary Baptist on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagle took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Eagle's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Micah Yaw paced Second Baptist University-Model's offense, picking up six kills. Yaw got some help from Kherington Snyder and her six assists. Olivia Renshaw controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Second Baptist University-Model's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5-1. As for Calvary Baptist, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2-1.

Second Baptist University-Model wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Lifestyle Christian on the 16th. After both having extra time off, Calvary Baptist and Allen Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on October 2.
