Football Game Preview: Chestnut Ridge Lions vs. Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers + How To Watch

Chestnut Ridge is a perfect 5-0 against Westmont Hilltop since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Chestnut Ridge ended up a good deal behind Bellwood-Antis and lost 46-28. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cade Emerick put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 126 receiving yards and one score. Landyn Pincin was another key player, having thrown for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Westmont Hilltop's offense. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of Bald Eagle Area.

Chestnut Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Westmont Hilltop, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Chestnut Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Westmont Hilltop in their previous meeting back in September of 2022, but they still walked away with a 33-29 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Hilltoppers' David Ray, who rushed for 89 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
