Recap: Roseville Tigers vs. Inderkum Tigers
It was a good run, but The Roseville Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 55-16 defeat at the hands of Inderkum. While losing is never fun, Roseville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Inderkum is ranked 94th).
Despite the loss, Roseville still got an impressive performance from Joel Bradley, who picked up 141 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Bradley's longest reception was for an incredible 76 yards.
Inderkum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ricky Cole led the charge by throwing for 274 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt. Cole is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lono Chouteau, who picked up 127 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Roseville's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Inderkum, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
Roseville will challenge Woodcreek at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Woodcreek's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Inderkum, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Antelope at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
