Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dunellen). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Timothy Christian a 21-0 shutout on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Destroyers in their matchups with Timothy Christian: they've now won eight in a row.

Joseph Reyes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Reyes was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, Kristhan Roman Lopez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Dunellen: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Mark Stein, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Dunellen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .698. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Dunellen pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games.
