Wheeling and Rolling Meadows are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Wildcats will square off against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Wheeling came up short against Prospect and fell 2-0.

Wheeling was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Rolling Meadows had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Grenadiers.

Rolling Meadows easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13.

Wheeling's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10. As for Rolling Meadows, their win bumped their record up to 9-15.

Wheeling beat Rolling Meadows 2-0 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
