Baseball Recap: Patagonia Takes a Loss

Patagonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the St. David Tigers, falling 13-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lobos of the 10-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Patagonia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnny Fields, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Patagonia's record is now 1-8. As for St. David, their record now sits at 5-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patagonia will challenge Ray at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. David, they will take on Duncan at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
