Volleyball Recap: Calabasas Comes Up Short

Calabasas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Westlake Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Calabasas was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Westlake's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-22.

Calabasas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Westlake, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Calabasas will face off against St. Monica at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Westlake, they will square off against Agoura at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
