Baseball Game Preview: Grayson County Blue Devils vs. Galax Maroon Tide

The Grayson County Blue Devils will face off against the Galax Maroon Tide at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Grayson County's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Galax has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Grayson County had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Fort Chiswell put an end to it on Thursday. The Blue Devils lost 11-1 to the Pioneers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered since May 27, 2024.

Meanwhile, Galax fell victim to Giles and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 14-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Maroon Tide have suffered against the Spartans since April 12, 2022.

Grayson County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Galax, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
