Baseball Recap: White Knoll Takes a Loss

White Knoll was the 8-0 winner over West Florence when they last played one another back in May of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. White Knoll fell 11-6 to West Florence on Saturday.

Braydon Hoffman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, White Knoll saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Gallegos, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

White Knoll's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for West Florence, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

White Knoll has already played their next matchup, a 10-5 loss against River Bluff on the 18th. As for West Florence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against South Florence on the 18th.
