Softball Recap: Springville Triumphs

Springville never let their opponents score on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the South Sevier Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Kalia Sjoberg was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Springville's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for South Sevier, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Coming up, Springville will challenge Spanish Fork at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dons have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for South Sevier, they will head out on the road to challenge Enterprise at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
