Wayzata has gone 10-0 against Buffalo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wayzata Trojans will head out to face off against the Buffalo Bison at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Wayzata sitting on nine straight wins and Buffalo on five.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wayzata beat Chaska 77-71. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Hawks are ranked 87th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Buffalo was able to grind out a solid victory over Brainerd on Monday, taking the game 66-57.

Wayzata's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.6 points. As for Buffalo, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Wayzata was able to grind out a solid victory over Buffalo in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 60-47. Does Wayzata have another victory up their sleeve, or will Buffalo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
