Softball Recap: Green River Comes Up Short

Green River had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 20-3 to the Thunder Basin Bolts. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Green River saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kodi Allred, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

The victory (which was Thunder Basin's tenth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Green River will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rock Springs at 3:30 p.m. on April 15. As for Thunder Basin, they will face off against South at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
