Softball Recap: Wheeling Park Takes a Loss

Wheeling Park fell victim to Parkersburg South and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of Parkersburg South by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Parkersburg South this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 last Monday.

Wheeling Park has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Parkersburg South, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Coincidentally, Wheeling Park and Parkersburg South will both be playing John Marshall the next time they take the field. Wheeling Park will head out to face John Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Parkersburg South will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
