Softball Recap: Trumbull Finds Home Field Redemption Against Maloney

There's no place like home for Trumbull, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Maloney Spartans by a score of 4-1 on Monday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Trumbull has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Maloney, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Trumbull nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
