Baseball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Falls to Chattooga in First Game of Season

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-2 to the Chattooga Indians on Monday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

The victory got Chattooga back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will face off against Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chattooga, they will square off against Gaylesville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
