Baseball Game Preview: Moreno Valley Vikings vs. Hemet Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Moreno Valley will face off against Hemet. The Vikings will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Moreno Valley 3.6, Hemet 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Moreno Valley took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Hemet, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bulldogs 3-1.

Hemet's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Moreno Valley, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
