Volleyball Recap: Stephenville Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Stephenville and Lorena meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees came out on top against the Leopards by a score of 3-1. For the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Leopards walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Stephenville pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lorena, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stephenville will welcome Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lorena, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Odessa.
