Basketball Recap: Sharon Comes Up Short

Sharon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 55-38 fall against the Oliver Ames Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Tigers are ranked 33rd).

Sharon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Oliver Ames, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Sharon will head out on the road to square off against Attleboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oliver Ames, they will be playing at home against North Attleborough at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
