Recap: Sharpsville Blue Devils vs. Allegheny-Clarion Valley Falcons
The Sharpsville Blue Devils were the 42-36 winner over the Allegheny-Clarion Valley Falcons when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Sharpsville took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Allegheny-Clarion Valley. Sharpsville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Distler, who scored 10 points. Distler scored a full 25.6% of Sharpsville's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Cadman, who scored 8 points.
Sharpsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Allegheny-Clarion Valley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Sharpsville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sharon at 7:00 p.m. Allegheny-Clarion Valley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Venango Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
