La Vega is a perfect 6-0 against Hearne since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. La Vega will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

La Vega barely beat Gatesville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pirates' defense stepped up to hand the Hornets an 8-0 shutout on Friday. Ramiro Varela was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Hearne didn't have quite enough to beat Marlin on Friday and fell 3-2. Hearne haven't had much luck with Marlin recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

La Vega's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Hearne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

La Vega got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 against Hearne by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
