Preview: Richland Colts vs. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds
Richland is 6-1 against the Warbirds since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Richland Colts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Richland pushed their score all the way to 58 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Oakes by a score of 60-58. Richland has struggled against the Tornadoes recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood came up short against the Rangers on Tuesday and fell 48-35.
Richland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Richland came up short against the Warbirds when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 52-40. Can Richland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
