Acadiana came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Lafayette Lions by a score of 12-8. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Acadiana's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lafayette, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1.
