Joliet Central had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 62-50 win over the Romeoville Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-42 back in December of 2024.

Joliet Central pushed their record up to 15-16 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Romeoville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season.
