Baseball Recap: Stanton County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Stanton County's offense. They came up short against the Lakin Broncs on Monday, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since May 2, 2024.

Stanton County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlos Ramos, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Stanton County and nudges their season record down to 7-4. As for Lakin, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Broncs beat Stanton County by a score of 12-9 later that day.
