Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Find Success

The Jefferson Dragons narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Chipley Tigers 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Jefferson wouldn't go down easily and took Chipley into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 22-25, 15-13.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Chipley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will venture away from home to square off against Hart County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chipley, they will challenge Liberty County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
