Softball Recap: Waite Comes Up Short on the Road Against Genoa Area

Waite had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 13-1 to the Genoa Area Comets on Thursday.

Waite saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Fouty, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The victory got Genoa Area back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waite will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rogers at 5:00 p.m. on April 9. As for Genoa Area, they will square off against Toledo Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
