Basketball Recap: Truckee Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wooster, Truckee was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Sparks Railroaders by a score of 48-41. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Sparks lost, don't look at Angel Flores. Despite the final result, he made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc to post 20 points. The dominant performance gave Flores a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Flores, who posted seven points.

Truckee's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15. As for Sparks, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-20.

Truckee has already played their next matchup (against North Valleys), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sparks will square off against Wooster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
