Baseball Recap: Apache Junction Takes a Loss

Apache Junction was the 7-2 winner over Combs when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Prospectors fell 7-2 to the Coyotes on Friday. The Prospectors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Apache Junction saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Decker Castillo, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Combs, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15-2.

Looking ahead, Apache Junction will head out on the road to take on Globe at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Combs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
