Basketball Recap: Cisne Takes a Loss

Cisne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 65-33 loss at the hands of the Farina South Central Cougars. If the Runnin' Lions were looking for revenge after losing 61-49 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cisne's record is now 6-16. As for Farina South Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Cisne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-27 loss against Woodlawn on the 7th. As for Farina South Central, they have also already played their next game, a 62-44 win against Brownstown/St. Elmo on the 7th.
